• A thermometer

When melting wax, what is the ideal temperature to use?

Achieving the right results requires melting wax at the proper temperature. Generally speaking, depending on the kind of wax you're using, you should melt it to between 70 and 80°C. Make sure to always read the instructions on your wax, since different types have varying melting points, which can affect how well your wax melts.

Which environment is most suited for creating wax melts?

There are a few things to think about when setting up your work area for melting wax. First and foremost, there needs to be a suitable workspace with access to power, good lighting, and ventilation. A sizable table or an abundance of counter space should be provided for all required materials, including wax, moulds, colours, and fragrance oils. Additionally, when handling hot wax, make sure the proper safety precautions are taken, such as wearing gloves and goggles. Additionally, keeping your workspace organised while creating your masterpieces will benefit from having a section set aside for wax melt production.

Another important consideration when creating wax melts is temperature. Working at too-low temperatures can result in incomplete melting, while working at too-high temperatures can cause air bubbles to form in the finished product, giving the impression of poorly melted wax melts. The ideal room temperature range is between 15°C and 27°C.
